Compost FBX and Green Star of Interior Alaska have teamed up for the first annual Waste Reduction week.
March 4th through 8th will be highlighted by lots of unique open house opportunities at local organizations and businesses throughout Fairbanks which are engaged in waste reduction and sustainability. Waste Reduction Week concludes with the Sustainable Living Expo hosted at JP Jones Center on Saturday, March 9th from Noon to 5:00 PM. There will be children’s activities, door prizes, presentations by local businesses and 10-15 local businesses displaying products and services.
