The FNSB Central Recycling Facility (FNSB CRF)

Green Star of Interior Alaska has operated the FNSB CRF since late 2022.  Here is what you need to know:

What can be recycled?

The CRF accepts cardboard, mixed paper, copier / office paper, aluminum beverage containers, #1 and #2 plastic bottles and jugs with caps removed, steel / tin cans (labels removed and rinsed), household electronics, non-automotive batteries, and eyeglasses (accepted for the Lions Aurora Borealis Eyeglass Recycling Center in North Pole).  Please use the following links to see the CRF FAQ’s and the CRF Acceptable Materials Flyer.

Hours:
Tuesday through Friday  10 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday  9 am to 5 pm
CLOSED Sunday and Monday
The Central Recycling Facility is closed on New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
