One of the current limitations at the FNSB Central Recycling Facility (CRF) is our inability to accommodate more that two lines of drop-off/traffic at anytime. This includes commercial and public drop off and will not change until FNSB new central recycling facility becomes a reality (FY 2027 or 2028). Because of this we would like to encourage businesses to make their recycling program available to their employees and potentially their patrons and/or the public. Sending less vehicles with more material through the FNSB CRF is the best way to maximize what we have until a better solution is available. You can make your recycling program even easier by utilizing our free borrow a bin program to sort your recycling before bringing it to the FNSB CRF. Whether you use a commercial hauler or bring it in yourself, we would appreciate your help in making recycling simpler for as many residents as possible.
