Natalie Mayer, M.D. Family Medicine
Originally from Pennsylvania, Natalie moved to Alaska in 1992 to work at Eielson AFB as a Family Medicine physician. After eight years of active duty, she worked in various clinics in Fairbanks until she and her husband John opened the Mayer Clinic in 2006. She has been a board member with the Breast Cancer Detection Center since 2015.
Natalie started volunteering with Green Star about seven years ago, joining her two kids who were doing community service for Monroe High School. In addition to Saturday volunteer days, Natalie has helped with special event recycling including the Midnight Sun Festival and the Tanana Valley State Fair. Her family has also recycles at home and they currently have two active compost bins that enrich their garden soil every summer. Having been a Fairbanks resident for 27 years, a small business owner for 13 years, and now serving as a Board Member, Natalie is a devoted community member who dedicates herself to the growth and success of Green Star.
