Storm Drain Art Project
Every year Tanana Valley Watershed Association (TVWA) spearheads the annual Storm Drain Art Project in downtown Fairbanks to raise awareness that our storm water goes into the Chena and affects our waterways
This year the deadline to submit your design to @tvwatershed is May 24th! Actual painting will take place June 7th and Tanana Valley Watershed Association is giving $150 stipends to artist teams.

Stream Cleanup Day
Also every year multiple organizations and government divisions put on a Stream Cleanup Day to clean Noyes Slough and the Chena River! Stream Cleanup Day is now one month away!
This year it is Saturday June 14th from 9am-2pm and folks will meet at the DNR Chena River Recreation Site on Geraghty and University Ave (3530 Geraghty Rd).
