Join the resident geeks at Green Star ReUse IT for lots of information and some hands-on install, testing, evaluation and experimentation of many popular Open Source Software (OSS) solutions. We use many of these applications to help keep systems working and productive.
No computer required
If you are just curious or just have questions about what open source solutions look like and run like, but do not have a spare laptop, or don’t want to install an OS or OSS applications on your device, you are welcome to come play with some of ours. No computer is required to come to the event.
Don’t bring a laptop with important data you don’t have a backup for
Depending on what you decide to do with your laptop during this event, you may decide to overwrite everything that was previously on your device. If you have important information on the laptop you intend to bring to the event, insure it is backed up before you arrive.
