August was a busy month for our Reuse IT team with our Annual Back to School & Work Sale and a record setting 137 systems sold! That is the most systems sold in a month and accounted for 2,522 pounds of electronics refurbished and kept out of the landfill!
Not only was our staff selling computers but they continued to keep up with our Reboot IT Technology Grant requests with 21 systems distributed including 14 free systems for community members in need.
All this work would not be possible without FNSB residents recycling their old or underused computer systems. Thank you to everyone who recycles their e-waste for helping us keep it out of the landfill!
