Beginning November 1, 2023, the Central Recycling Facility (CRF), will open two hours earlier during the week.
Tuesday through Friday, community members are now able to drop off recyclables from 10AM – 5:30PM and Saturday 9AM – 5PM.
To make drop off more efficient, the FNSB carpenters have constructed three additional collection carts. They will be stationed on the opposite side of the drive through so that customers can now drop off recyclables on both sides of the lane.
The CRF collects cardboard, mixed paper, aluminum, and #1 and #2 plastic bottles and jugs. Please sort your recyclables prior to arriving at the CRF. Please remove caps and do not include materials with contamination (food residue and other liquids). Staff are available to assist and advise you.
The CRF can NOT receive motor oil and other automotive fluid containers as they are not acceptable to our downstream recycler. Other items that are not accepted at the CRF include: light ballasts, smoke detectors, and machines that hold fluids such as fuel, coolant, or oil.
Thank you for supporting local efforts to recycle!
