This Saturday, April 23 from 11am to 4pm, join Green Star, the Northern Center, the Fairbanks Climate Action Coalition, Interior Alaska Land Trust, the Folk School and others for a day of festivities for Earth Day at Pioneer Park!

From 11am to noon, there will be an Earth Day Parade! Come representing another species of this miraculous planet we call home with costumes, masks, floats made of wagons, garden carts, and wheel barrows! We will march around Pioneer Park and along Airport Frontage Road. We will be marching on the sidewalks for safety.

Following the parade, there will be food trucks, informational tables, kid activities, music and more! Green Star of Interior Alaska will be providing recycling for the event, and we will be tabling and hosting some kids activities alongside folks from the FNSB Central Recycling Facility and Zero Waste Fairbanks.

Email if you’d like to volunteer with us for Earth Day or other upcoming summer events!
