Come help us out any Saturday afternoon! Green Star needs your help with processing the recyclables collected by the Borough at the Central Recycling Facility. Volunteers help us with some of these tasks:
Cutting cords off devices and sorting them
Unloading electronics from the borough’s shipments
Sorting and packaging electronics to prepare them for shipment
Dismantling and destroying computer hard drives
Sorting and preparing batteries for shipment
Testing and fixing computers and parts for resale
Please sign up to volunteer in advance using the form below. You are welcome to volunteer for the full 1pm to 5pm shift, or for just part of it, we are happy to accommodate your schedule. All new volunteers will be asked to sign a waiver and release of liability. You may either download the waiver and bring it with you, or you can fill it out when you arrive at the warehouse.
