Aluminum Cans
Identification: Commonly used as beverage containers, aluminum cans are identified by their metallic sheen and are not magnetic.
Preparation: Rinse the can thoroughly. Aluminum cans containing food residue may not be recycled. Remove any labels. Crushed cans save space.
Items not accepted: Items with food residue, aluminum foil, pie pans, food cans, aerosol cans

Events Recycling
Over the course of the nine day Tanana Valley State Fair in 2016, Green Star of Interior Alaska recovered and recycled 2,980 pounds of recyclables generated by fair-goers through our Events Recycling Program.
