The holidays can create a lot of waste, especially if you have family or friends in town. On top of items that you are used to recycling at the FNSB CRF including aluminum cans, steel cans, paper, cardboard, electronics, batteries and #1 and #2 plastic bottles/jugs, there may be some items that you are not used to recycling.
One of those materials is holiday lights which can be recycled with any other electronics you have that are no longer working. We accept strand lights that do NOT contain glass bulbs.
A group of items that may come up is paper, including wrapping paper, gift bags and holiday cards. We cannot accept any paper that has metallics on it or has a plastic coating, all noncoated paper please sort with your mixed paper.
