We are hosting a special pop-up composting drop-off station, and we want your vegetable peelings, coffee grounds, and more! Pick up your 3-gal. buckets at Fairbanks Soil & Water Conservation District at 590 University Ave. (or at the pop up events themselves to have a bucket ready for next time)

Signups to volunteer with Green Star at the 2026 Tanana Valley State Fair (TVSF) are live! Volunteer for outreach tabling or event recycling in 2-hour shifts. One free fair pass per day per volunteer for 20 or more hours of volunteering.

Green Star electronics recycling warehouse, business ofice and Reuse IT will be closed Friday and Saturday, July 3rd and 4th. reopening on Monday, July 6th
The FNSB Central Recycling Facility will be OPEN Friday July 3rd and CLOSED Saturday, July 4th. CRF reopens Tuesday, July 7th.
